The Counseling Outreach Peer Educators team will host a drive for food and other items in support of SHOP (Students Helping Oz Peers) from April 7 to April 25. This is an opportunity to help provide essential resources to students in need and make a positive impact.

COPE will table regularly in Marano Campus Center, where members of the campus community will accept donations. As a thank you for their generosity, donors will have the opportunity to be entered into a raffle for a prize.

COPE also will set up several donation boxes set up around campus, including at the Dr. Mary Walker Health Center, Penfield Library, the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) Office, the Educational Opportunity Program Office (also in Penfield Library), the University Police lobby in Pathfinder Hall and the Culkin Hall lobby.

Donations needed include:

  • Non-perishable food items
  • Toiletries (toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc.)
  • Laundry detergent
  • Paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.)
  • School supplies (notebooks, pens, pencils, etc.)
  • Hygiene products (feminine hygiene, deodorant, etc.)
  • Canned goods and snacks

Any support can make a real difference for students who are struggling with basic needs. COPE and SHOP appreciate any donations you can contribute.
