SUNY Oswego Campus Technology Services and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion will host a discussion from 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday, April 25, in 201 Marano Campus Center to explore interest in launching a SUNY Oswego Women in Technology program (WIT) campus chapter.
Those interested can use this link to register to participate or to indicate interest even if they are unable to join.
During the discussion, Chief Technology Officer Sean Moriarty will give an overview of the WIT program, including what support SUNY will provide and what campus engagement might look like.
Scones and coffee/tea will be provided.
The purpose of SUNY WIT is to promote diversity, equity and inclusion within SUNY and its 64 campuses; foster and strengthen workplace effectiveness and leadership abilities; enhance professional development; and promote career growth and success for people identifying as women and their allies in traditional information technology, libraries and other SUNY functional offices with strong technology roles (such as admissions, athletics, institutional research, impact analysts, academic departments, student success functions, instructional design and campus facilities).
