Dear Members of the Campus Community,
I am pleased to announce the formal appointment of Dr. Jerri Howland as vice president of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management effective immediately. Howland had served as interim vice president since June 2018.
I want to thank Dr. Howland, who has provided outstanding leadership to the division and made significant contributions as a member of the President’s Council during the recent interim phase, while continuing to serve in her role as dean of students. Her tireless work to develop and strengthen relationships with our students, coupled with her vision for expanding student access and providing greater opportunity and success have positively impacted the college and members of our campus community.
We’re extremely fortunate to have someone like Jerri on our team and I am pleased that she has fully embraced this new opportunity. She’s well respected on campus by colleagues and students alike, and I look forward to her continued engagement with students and good work on behalf of the division and all of SUNY Oswego.
