Members of the campus community are invited to take the pledge against sexual violence for It's On Us day -- Tuesday, April 2 -- and get a free T-shirt.

The local It's On Oz team will have a table for It's On Us day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., or until shirts run out, on Tuesday. Those who have shirts from taking the pledge are encouraged to wear them as well.

Anybody who would like to sign up to volunteer can do so online.

For more information about the pledge, visit the It's On Us website.  Contact lisa.evaneski@oswego.edu for more information about all of our prevention efforts.

About It's On Us

Launched in September 2014, It’s On Us is a national movement to end sexual assault. The campaign was launched following recommendations from the White House Task Force to Prevent Sexual Assault that noted the importance of engaging everyone in the conversation to end sexual violence.

It’s On Us asks everyone -- students, community leaders, parents, organizations, and companies -- to step up and realize that the conversation changes with us. It’s a rallying cry to be a part of the solution. The campaign combines innovative creative content and grassroots organizing techniques to spark conversation on a national and local level.

Over the past two years, almost 300,000 people have taken a stand against sexual violence by taking the It’s On Us pledge. The campaign works with 95 partners and students on over 500 campuses.
