Next Wednesday, May 1, 11 SUNY Oswego undergraduate students will highlight their internship and co-op experiences while competing for awards during the Oz Internship Showcase, 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Marano Campus Center auditorium (Room 132).
Top prizes include a $200 Best Presentation Award and $100 Audience Choice Award. Members of the campus community are encouraged to sign up to attend and then cast votes after listening to presentations.
This past November, seven SUNY Oswego students competed in a similar event at the SUNY Oswego Syracuse Campus hosted by regional organization, Central New York Career Development Association.
The 11 presenters on May 1 include:
- Rachel Allen, senior political science major
- Alexis Bowering, junior public relations major
- Mary Buske, junior human resources management major
- Kelly Dolan, senior accounting major
- Emily Fisher, senior public relations major
- Christopher Frein, junior public justice major
- Austin Glazer, senior marketing major
- Jasmine Hundal, senior computer science major
- Jessica Kisluk, senior broadcasting and mass communication major
- Jessica Metz, senior broadcasting and mass communication major
- Cliff-Simon Vital, senior biology major
Many of these students completed or are currently working towards the completion of internships on the SUNY Oswego campus.
