The Write Ways Series will present "What Makes an Argument? Statements, Claims, and Thesis" from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, in Penfield's Library's Classroom 215.
Presented by Christine Hirsch of the communication studies faculty, the workshop -- which is free and open to students, faculty and staff -- will focus on how to build an argument from claim to conclusion.
