Applications are now available for 2020 Alternative Winter Break trips. For one week over winter break, groups of students will travel with faculty or staff group leaders to different areas of the country and serve with nonprofit agencies.

Students can choose from four different service trips focusing on food security, affordable housing, accessibility or animal welfare. Trips take place from Jan. 18 to 26, 2020, the week before spring classes begin. Destinations include Washington, D.C.; Nebraska; Virginia; and one here in Oswego County.

All applicants must attend an information session. Upcoming sessions in 143 Marano Campus Center include 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, and 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2.

Applications and more information about each trip are available on the alternative breaks page of the Community Services website. Applications and a $25 cash or check deposit are due Oct. 4.
