The third annual Maker Madness will return to SUNY Oswego’s Penfield Library next month for the free family event filled with hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) activities.
Sponsored by the Zonta Club of Oswego, SUNY Oswego, Novelis and the Central Square School District, Maker Madness will run 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 7.
Attendees are invited to learn, explore, play and create with robotics, crafts, jewelry making, rock painting, 3D Printing, LEGOs and more as opportunities for hands-on learning and skill demonstrations from expert practictioners.
Admission for Maker Madness is free. Three Chromebooks donated by CDI will be raffled and free parking is available in Lot 1. Maker Madness is open to all ages and genders. This year, the event has partnered with the Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways so participants can work towards earning badges.

Per the SUNY Child Protection Policy, children under the age of 17 who attend programs on the SUNY Oswego campus must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the event or program.
