The HeForShe student organization will present an art gallery and fashion show to celebrate acceptance and "the art of being free," organizers said.
Co-sponsored by It's On Oz, the show titled "Museum of Sex" will run from from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 6, in the Hewitt ballroom. The event will highlight gender, sexuality, individuality and liberation.
Oswego's HeforShe is an organization that works to fight towards gender equity and for the rights of all minority groups.
"We work to challenge people's views to further social change," organizers said. "This event is a celebration to showcase our diverse student body and our movement for gender equity, as well as to capitalize on the art of civic action, and it is important that we all get involved in fighting for one another."
