Human Resources is pleased to announce the rollout of the electronic Unclassified Service Appointment form through Interview Exchange. Effective Aug. 1, 2020, this process will replace the paper version of this form and will be used for all unclassified service employment actions.

To prepare for this transition, Human Resources will offer remote (Zoom) training sessions on the following days for anyone to join: 

  • Wednesday, July 15: 3 to 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, July 21: 10 to 11 a.m.
  • Thursday, July 23: 3 to 4 p.m.
  • Monday, July 27: 10 to 11 a.m.

You can sign up online for one of the above training sessions. You will receive an email regarding your account access and the Zoom link.

With this new process, Human Resources highly recommends using your department’s general email rather than your individual campus email to process the appointment forms. Please reach out to Leah Holmes leah.holmes@oswego.edu to get your department Interview Exchange account set up.

There will also be a new step required in this process which will be the completion of the Employment Actions Justification form for every appointment form submission. This justification ensures that all employment and salary/compensation decisions are in line with the New York State Division of the Budget Budget Bulletins and SUNY guidance. There will be a drop box to upload into Interview Exchange within each appointment form.
