The SUNY Oswego Syracuse campus invites applicants for a scholarship opportunity offered by Visions Federal Credit Union. The scholarship offers $500 for the fall 2020 semester to Syracuse campus non-traditional students. The Syracuse campus student applicant must be a matriculated, non-traditional undergraduate junior or senior student with financial need.
Last year Visons FCU and SUNY Oswego Syracuse campus team awarded two part-time non-traditional students this scholarship. “These students not only must submit to the rigors of their academic program, but they juggle competing demands of work and personal life," Dean of Extended Learning Jill Pippin said at the time. "This scholarship means so much more than money; it reduces one of the many roadblocks that adult learners have and enables them to pursue and attain their higher education goals.”
