The campus community is invited to a moderated Q&A and a live admission-free performance with featured I Am Oz Diversity Speaker Series guest Rebecca Hargrove at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, in the Sheldon Hall ballroom.
A powerhouse performer across television, opera and theater, Hargrove has been a member of The Metropolitan Opera Extra-Chorus since 2019, appearing in "Die Meistersinger," "Fire Shut Up in My Bones" and "Porgy & Bess," earning two Grammy Awards for Best Opera Album.
Beyond performance, Hargrove is a filmmaker and co-founder of KSH Productions LLC, dedicated to telling Black stories with love, joy and positivity. Their debut short film, "Last Call," has won multiple festival awards.
