Imagine 2023, the third year of this signature university program for students and recent alumni, will kick off with a New York City Career Connections event, followed by other professional development activities through early February.

The New York City Career Connections event will include an opportunity to connect with NYC alumni and learn ways to maximize their professional network, in collaboration with one of the top networking platforms, LinkedIn.

This LinkedIn session will run from 1 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12, at the Empire State Building, with a Jan. 5 registration deadline

The event will include the following:

  • 1 to 2 p.m.: Learn from some of the amazing SUNY Oswego alumni in NYC as they provide information and advice on how to transition to and be successful in the Big Apple.
  • 2 to 3 p.m.: Gain professional advice and guidance from one of the world’s leading online professional networking platforms. This session – led by LinkedIn staff – will help you rock your profile and use LinkedIn to move ahead.
  • 3 to 4 p.m.: Tour several floors of the LinkedIn corporate offices, within the Empire State Building. (Here is a sneak peek.)

No acceptances or confirmations necessary; but advance registration is required. Register online by Jan. 5 to secure a spot.
