The eighth annual Oswego Porchfest, running noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17, celebrates musical talent from around the greater Port City area –- including many SUNY Oswego faculty, staff and students.
The festival unfolds across the city’s historic westside neighborhoods north of Route 104/Bridge Street, concentrated around such areas as Franklin (West) Park and Montcalm Park, but also extending further north and east.
Many university employees host performers on their porches as well, while computer science faculty member James Early offers free recordings for performers, with the support of students in the Music Department.
