The State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) campaign's Bake Off fundraiser produced several winners among outstanding bakers while cooking up $642.25 in support of the United Way of Greater Oswego County.

Winners received baking sets and the honor of top chefs for the 2021 campaign, but organizers thanked all campus bakers and tasters for the successful campaign.

The Holiday Toy, Food and Pet Supplies Drive, with trees and boxes in buildings around campus, collects for a wide range of local charities through Friday, Dec. 3. The toy drive, running through Dec. 10, involves paper ornaments that provide information about kids that the Oswego County Children's Fund are trying to connect with holiday cheer. Additional beneficiaries include the Human Concerns Center, Salvation Army of Oswego County, Paws Across Oswego County and United Friends of Homeless Animals.
The second Teddy Bear Toss supporting Toys for Tots will take place at the Laker men's hockey game against Morrisville on Saturday, Dec. 4. The Laker women kicked off the campaign collecting more than 80 stuffed animals (and a 5-0 win over Potsdam) on Nov. 20. People also can participate virtually via the SEFA online storefront.
