A once-in-a-lifetime spot in the path of the April 8 total solar eclipse will get a big campus watch party from 2 to 4:30 p.m. on the north lawn adjacent to the Marano Campus Center.
SUNY Oswego students, faculty and staff are invited to take in the astrophysical phenomenon while enjoying make-and-take crafts, yard games, a live DJ and free T-shirts while supplies last. The Division of Student Affairs sponsors this event.
Free eclipse glasses are also currently available via the Marano Campus Center box office. SUNY Oswego students, faculty and staff can receive one free pair and can pay $2 for each additional set of glasses.
The watch party is one of many eclipse-related happenings on campus throughout the day. Visit oswego.edu/eclipse to learn about more activities.
