Members of the campus community can receive booster vaccinations against COVID from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 6, in Swetman Gym in Marano Campus Center.

Wegmans sponsors two clinics within that time -- one for the Moderna and/or Pfizer boosters, and another for the Johnson & Johnson booster. Participants should pre-register online via this link. Please enter the 13126 zip code when prompted, which will bring up the SUNY Oswego hosted clinic in Swetman Gym. 

Earlier this week, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced an increased push to encourage New York state residents to get the booster in the ongoing battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.

"When you get vaccinated and get your booster, you continue to not only protect yourself, but your loved ones," Gov. Hochul noted. "Vaccines are critical to enjoying a safe and healthy holiday season with family and friends and I strongly encourage New Yorkers to get vaccinated to help prevent the spread of this deadly virus."

The state also rolled out a new website about the COVID booster program, with more information on the booster, who is eligible and where to get it.

For the campus community, organizers hope those who are eligible sign up for the Dec. 6 on-campus clinics.
