A variety of recreational activities, athletic events, nature programs, tours and more invite the community to the SUNY Oswego campus for the Winter Break Cruisin’ the Campus from Dec. 26, 2023, to Jan. 7, 2024.
Events will include:
- Open recreation including open skating in the Deborah F. Stanley Arena and Convocation Hall (Dec. 26 to 28, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 4), open gym in Lee Hall (Dec. 26 to 29, noon to 4 p.m.) and Romney Field House open recreation (1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 27 and 28, and Jan. 1, 3 and 4)
- Open hours for Penfield Library (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 27 to 29 and Jan. 2 to 5)
- Shineman Greenhouse tours (noon to 3 p.m. Dec. 28 and 29)
- A guided snowshoe nature walk at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30 at Rice Creek Field Station and the Junior Naturalist Program at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Jan. 6
- Admissions Office tours from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 27 and Jan. 10
Laker student-athletes will be in action with the following home athletics games (details and tickets available via tickets.oswego.edu):
- The Oswego State Men’s Hockey Classic with the Lakers playing at 7 p.m. Dec. 30 vs. Concordia and 4 p.m. Dec. 31 vs. TBD
- Women’s hockey vs. Plattsburgh at 7 p.m. on Jan. 5 and 3 p.m. on Jan. 6
- Women’s and men’s basketball doubleheaders vs. Brockport (5:30 and 7:30, Jan. 5) and vs. Geneseo (2 and 4 p.m., Jan. 6)
- Wrestling vs. Ithaca at noon on Jan. 6
