As part of its ongoing support for and connections with the community, SUNY Oswego will sponsor the family-friendly Shadow Players Stage Combat Group at Oswego’s Harborfest.
The pirate-themed comedy troupe that incorporates choreographed swordplay, music and education is among the children’s performers appearing July 25 to 27 in Breitbeck Park as part of the Port City’s most popular annual attraction.
Performing throughout those three days, the Shadow Players Stage Combat Group regularly presents street and stage performances between 20 and 30 minutes in length, filled with audience interaction, laughs and action, appropriate for audiences of all ages.
The sponsorship dovetails with SUNY Oswego’s strategic plan, Transforming Lives, Igniting Possibilities, and specifically the goal of connecting with the community and young learners to create familiarity with the university’s offerings as a potential educational destination with high-quality opportunities at an affordable price.
