Due to a partial road closure on Rudolph Road on Monday, August 15, 2022, please review the following instructions for entering and exiting campus to move into Johnson Hall.
Driving Directions on Campus – Johnson Hall
- Follow the directions for coming in on Route 481 north, then turn on to Route 104 (Bridge Street) heading west. Your defining icons will be (corner of East 1st Street and Bridge), a Pathfinder Bank on your right, and a Subway (sub shop) straight ahead on your left. You will turn left at this light and go over the bridge.
- You are now on the main road for Oswego, heading to the west side of Oswego; keep going through downtown.
- You will come to five-way traffic light, and McDonald’s will be on your left. At the traffic light, stay right (Washington Blvd.); keep going to the top of the hill.
- You will see a large building with a tower, Sheldon Hall. Turn right onto Sheldon Avenue, which turns into Rudolph Road, and drive down the hill.
- Follow the road around, and you will pass the President’s house, take the first right-hand turn past the President’s house; the first residence hall on your right is Johnson Hall. You will be directed by a Laker Move-In Crew Member to unload your car and move to a parking lot.
Arriving to Campus from the West
- Take I-90 (the New York State Thruway) east to Route 34 North (exit 40 in Weedsport).
- Take a left where the Thruway exit meets Route 34 and travel north to Route 104.
- Take a right onto Route 104 and follow to campus.
- Go past the Main Entrance and go to the first traffic light and take a left at the light.
- At the stop sign, take a left and then take the 2nd right onto Sheldon Avenue, which turns into Rudolph Road, and drive down the hill.
- Follow the road around, and you will pass the President’s house, take the first right-hand turn past the President’s house; the first residence hall on your right is Johnson Hall. You will be directed by a Laker Move-In Crew Member to unload your car and move to a parking lot.
