COVID-19 Testing Result Enhancements

Dear SUNY Oswego Students and Employees,

Starting today (Monday, March 22, 2021), there are several testing result enhancements that students and employees will begin to benefit from as part of their weekly COVID-19 testing experience.  

• All individuals taking a COVID-19 test in our Lee Hall and Syracuse Campus Testing Centers will now have access to their diagnostic test result via the SUNY Upstate app – the same app where the individual logs in prior to testing.
  
  
• All results will be viewable via the Upstate app (in each individual’s profile section) as soon as they are known. Accordingly, you will no longer receive test results via an email from SUNY Oswego.
• Those in a negative pool will see a negative result in the App that indicates they are negative.
• Those in a positive pool will see a result that says “pending.”  If in a positive pool, a follow-up result will be posted to your profile indicating whether you are positive or negative. Please note that SUNY Upstate’s MyChart will no longer be used for these purposes..
