Electricity outage - Penfield Library closed

Due to an unexpected transformer failure on campus, we are experiencing an electricity outage in Penfield Library this morning.  The library will be closed until power is restored. A crew has been working in response to the outage and is engaged in immediate efforts to get an emergency generator in place.

We anticipate restoring power to Penfield Library later this afternoon. Until then, students, faculty and staff will not be able to access the library. 

For those who normally use Penfield for computing and printing needs, please consider using the Marano Campus Center Lab - Room 207 (MCC 207). For a complete listing of departmental and residential computer labs, visit https://www.oswego.edu/cts/computer-labs.  

We will alert the campus community as soon as power is restored to Penfield Library.
