Enjoy the Fall Break; Testing Required for Those Not Fully Vaccinated

Dear Members of the SUNY Oswego Campus Community,
As many of you prepare to enjoy the semester break, and for some the Thanksgiving holiday, later this month, I want to wish all members of the SUNY Oswego community a safe respite.
As a reminder to those students and employees who are not fully vaccinated, you are still required to participate in mandated weekly testing. We also recommend that you test three (3) days prior to your departure to ensure receipt of your results prior to leaving campus. Protect yourself, do your part and ensure you are not presenting a risk to family or friends you may encounter during the break.
Walk-in testing is welcome at the testing center located in Poucher Lounge (the open area at the far east end of the Marano Campus Center). Appointments are no longer necessary. Visit the Testing Center website for days and hours of operation.
Upon return to campus after the break, students and employees who are not fully vaccinated are expected to resume weekly surveillance testing for the duration of the fall 2021 semester. Students and employees who are fully vaccinated are not required to test upon leaving or returning to campus.
I wish you all the best as you enjoy the break. Stay safe and healthy, and please remember to continue to adhere to safety guidelines so that we can all enjoy the remainder of the semester upon your return!
