Governor Hochul declares Statewide State of Emergency; employees urged to stay home
December 22, 2022 - 8:30pm
Governor Kathy Hochul today declared a State of Emergency for the entire State of New York in advance of a significant winter weather system forecast that is expected to bring a mixed bag of hazards across the state beginning tonight and continuing through Monday.
Given this directive from the Governor to refrain from travel on Friday and Saturday, I am urging all SUNY Oswego employees, who are not part of the essential "skeleton crew," to refrain from coming to campus.
Any residence hall students staying on campus should reach out to a Residence Life and Housing staff member for assistance.
Stay home, stay off the roads and stay safe.
