As we keep thoughts of Justin Carmona in our minds and hearts, we are mourning our loss of him and also his much too early passing. But, as we did at a beautiful memorial gathering by the water at Glimmerglass last night, organized by those who loved and admired Justin, we are also remembering an incredibly special human being who deeply touched and cared for every person he knew. The stories of how he brought his heritage, his poetry and his humor to make an impact in the lives of others truly speak to his light in the world. He will forever have an honored place at SUNY Oswego.

Justin's mother asked us to let everyone know the arrangements made for services. Calling hours for Justin will be held Thursday, December 20, 2018, from 4 to 9 p.m., at R.G. Ortiz Funeral Home, 2580 Grand Concourse, Bronx, New York 10458. A funeral service will be held the following day, on Friday, December 21, 2018 (time TBA).
