SUNY Oswego classes cancelled: Jan. 31
Due to extreme weather conditions reported by the National Weather Service, calling for dangerously low wind chill temperatures (as low as -35 degrees) and blizzard warnings that forecast blowing and drifting lake effect snow through Thursday evening, all SUNY Oswego classes, scheduled for today, Thursday, Jan. 31, are cancelled. This applies to classes on the SUNY Oswego main campus and at our Syracuse campus.
To our employees: the operations of the college will continue on Thursday, as only the Governor has the authority to close state institutions. We ask all our employees traveling to and from campus to be extremely careful. We also understand that some employees may decide not to come to work today based on personal safety concerns. Those who choose not to report to work must charge accruals for this absence.
Additional updates will be shared as necessary.
