Internet and phone outage

Spectrum who provides Oswego phone and part of our internet service is experiencing an outage that is affecting services throughout the northeastern United States.

During the outage, should you need to contact University Police, dial 5555 from a campus phone or 315-312-2500 from a cell or land line. University Police are setup to receive incoming calls to 315-312-2500 during the duration of the outage.

Due to the outage, you will experience some slowness with internet activities as all traffic is defaulting to our alternate providers.

Campus phones are not able to make calls off campus and we are not able to accept incoming calls. Campus-to-campus calling continues to work.

CTS staff has been in contact with Spectrum and they are working to resolve this issue.
