Baseline Testing for Commuter Students Coming to Campus
Greetings Off Campus Students!
Our records indicate that you are a commuter / off campus student who is REQUIRED to participate in COVID-19 Baseline and Surveillance testing during the Spring 2021 semester. The criteria for required testing includes 1) students enrolled in face-to-face (F2F) or hybrid courses, 2) students working on campus, 3) students utilizing campus services.
Here is important information about COVID testing requirements. Please read carefully!
You are REQUIRED to participate in Baseline COVID testing between 1/21 - 1/29, as well as ongoing Surveillance testing throughout the semester. Failure to comply with Baseline COVID testing requirements will result in disciplinary action, including measures that will restrict you from participating in your classes.
Testing is available on campus at our Lee Hall Testing Center. If you are unable to get tested ON CAMPUS at our Lee Hall Testing Center, you MUST get tested elsewhere and submit documentation to Health Services via the ‘Patient Portal’ found here. Please be aware that you must be tested between 1/21 - 1/29 and you must have your documentation uploaded (and approved) BEFORE you come to campus.
COVID Testing ON CAMPUS at Lee Hall -- two steps to complete in advance:

Sign up for an appointment: Log in to tickets.oswego.edu to reserve a specific day and time. You will receive a confirmation email with additional information and details.

Upstate Pre-Registration (REQUIRED): Prior to your appointment you must ALSO register/log-in to www.suny-covid-test.com to create and/or update your account profile, including insurance information. If you took a COVID saliva test on campus last semester, simply “Log-In.” If you have not previously taken a COVID saliva test on campus, you must “Register” on this website to create an account. (For Institutional ID# enter your college ID#). Please complete this step prior to arriving for your testing appointment.
Additional information: You must not brush your teeth or use mouthwash within 3 hours of your test; or eat/drink or smoke/vape 30 minutes before your test.
What to bring: Your cell phone, a face mask, your student ID #, and insurance provider information (name, policy # and phone number of provider).
Reasons NOT TO COME FOR TESTING:

If you are currently in Isolation OR Quarantine (either Mandatory or Precautionary), you must contact Health Services at whealth@oswego.edu to request this exemption.

If you are currently experiencing COVID19 related symptoms (fever, headache, shortness of breath, nausea/diarrhea, loss of sense of taste/smell, fatigue) you should contact your healthcare provider or SUNY Oswego Health Services at 315-312-4100 (M-F 8:30-4:30) to inquire about other testing possibilities.

If you tested negative for COVID19 between 1/21-1/29, you will need to upload your test documentation to SUNY Oswego Health Services via the patient portal found here.

If you were previously COVID positive in the last 90 days, you are exempt from testing, but must provide documentation if you tested positive at a location other than our campus (Health Services or Lee Hall Testing Center) via the patient portal found here.
We are unable to accommodate walk-ins at the COVID testing center -- be sure you reserve an appointment in advance at tickets.oswego.edu.
