The Patient Portal and Secure Messages should be used for non-urgent medical questions, lab results, routine follow-up questions, etc. DO NOT use the secure messaging to communicate an emergency, an urgent issue or to request an appointment. All communication via the Patient Portal will become part of your permanent medical record
