Welcome to SUNY Oswego's Innovation Community and the home of "Launch It," an exciting opportunity to develop new ideas and solutions while connecting with students, faculty and alumni coaches across campus. Launch It is the premier campus event for students interested in entrepreneurship and the business start-up ecosystem.
Launch It is a campus competition with cash prizes open to all SUNY Oswego students. Think of it as Oswego's version of SharkTank.
To participate, here's how it works:
Download the Innovation Challenge app HERE. Join through your mobile phone or laptop and start engaging with alumni, entrepreneurs, faculty and students. Once on the network, you can post, take classes, comment or watch webinars and guest speakers discuss topics related to starting your own business. You can participate in Pitch events, Launch It, or be a part of the audience to "cheer" ideas.
To be eligible for the Launch It cash prizes, you have to first “pitch” your Idea!
You can share your entrepreneurial idea with students, faculty, alumni and idea coaches at one of two "Pitch" events. During the event, you'll have up to three minutes to "pitch" your idea to the audience in a LIVE, online session. It is also an opportunity for you to create a team to work on your idea.

Session #1 will be held Friday, September 25th at 3 p.m.
Session #2 will be held Wednesday, September 30th at 3 p.m.
After the pitch, you and your team (if you choose to create one) will get one-on-one mentoring from our alumni entrepreneurs and faculty to get your idea ready for the Launch It competition.
The Launch it competition finals will be held online on October 30, 2020 at 4 pm. Expert Judges will be LIVE online to hear the business ideas that made it through the pitches and to the final stages. The winners of the top prizes will be announced at the event. For the first time this year, students who participated in the Summer 2020 Innovation Challenge, will be automatically entered into the Pitch event and Launch It to present their business ideas.

Throughout the competition there will be webinars, drawings and bonuses. Just by engaging, you will learn about networking, entrepreneurship and developing ideas.
