For these two class periods, my students will be learning about geometric transformations (slides, turns and flips) by acting them out with their bodies. Using large tarps as coordinate grids and ropes to form the shapes, the students will walk the path taken by each point during each type of geometric transformation.

SUNY Oswego designed the Integrative Professional Studies Degree to meet adult students where they are, help them feel like they belong, and prepare them for the future of work and lifelong learning. Jill Pippin, Dean for Extended Learning, will share results from a case study of the factors that attract students to apply, enroll, and persist in a degree program and supports designed intentionally for adults.
