Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching
The Open Classroom Project provides faculty with an opportunity to share the innovative teaching practices they have adopted with colleagues from across the institution through class observations and reflection. This non-evaluative observation offers faculty an informal setting to discuss and reflect on classroom dynamics and teaching techniques employed in all course modalities.
Each semester, CELT will solicit volunteers to open their courses to observers. Once the list of open classes is determined, we will recruit share a list of open classes and share a registration form for people to sign up to observe these classes. We encourage observers to meet with the host faculty for both pre- and post-observation discussions.
