Get Ready for Winter Session Online
Classes officially start Monday, January 7th. All classes will be offered in Blackboard. Given the short timeframe in which to complete class work, we understand the importance of being able to access Blackboard in a timely manner. Below are some tips we have put together that may assist you in resolving some common issues.
-
If you have forgotten your Laker NetID (username) to login to Blackboard, you can search for it in the campus directory. Just go to People Search and search for yourself. You should see your email address listed. Your Laker NetID is the first part of the email address. That is, remove the @oswego.edu part of the email address.
-
If you have forgotten your password, you may be able to change it if you set up a security question. You can get started at the Password Reset page.
-
If you are unable to see your course, it could be because your professor has not officially opened it up yet. Or, it could be related to a registration issue. You can login to myOswego to verify your registration information.
If these items do not help resolve the issue, please contact the Help Desk during normal business hours. We’ll do our best to help as quickly as possible.
