Intensive Teacher Institute Certificate of Advanced Study in TESOL
We are working to address a critical shortage of content teachers prepared to work with English language learners.Teachers who complete this five-course and three-practicum program will be recommended to NYSED for an Additional Certificate in ESOL K-12. Candidates must pass the ESOL Content Specialty Test and apply for certification through TeachNY.
Candidates can transfer all five courses into SUNY Oswego's MSED Curriculum & Instruction program and earn a Master's degree with just five more courses.
Program Description
SUNY Oswego ITI-TESOL will run across one academic year (late August-July) and offer candidates key understandings for teaching English language learners.
