Important Updates from Human Resources
In follow up to the email you received on Friday from President Stanley, Human Resources would like to share some important updates with you regarding your work status.
The Governor has extended his directive for all non-essential State employees to work remotely until at least April 29. As a result, all telecommuting applications previously approved and on file with Human Resources now have an extended approval date through at least April 29, 2020. Please continue to work directly with your supervisor on your individual work plan.
If you are an essential employee whose job function is critical to the effective operation of the campus, and therefore requires you to have a physical presence on campus, please continue to work directly with your supervisor regarding your work schedule.
In accordance with State and SUNY guidance, continuation of pay for full-time and part-time employees has also been extended through April 29, 2020. This applies to anyone unable to complete their work from home due to the nature of their job, regardless of whether or not that individual has been assigned to work. This includes student assistant employees.
As a reminder, please continue to review the SUNY Oswego COVID-19 website for the most up to date announcements and resources. In particular, there are specific resources for Faculty and Staff, such as a link to Employee Leave Programs.
We continue to appreciate the cooperation of our campus employees involved in the COVID-19 emergency response and those who have been required to quickly adjust to working from home in light of this worldwide pandemic. Thank you.
