Extension of SUNY-Wide Telecommuting Policy
As previously communicated, the SUNY telecommuting policy issued on August 2, 2021 is set to expire on December 31, 2022. This policy has been extended through June 30, 2023 (PEF extended through March 31, 2023) with no other changes.
At this time, any existing previously approved telecommuting arrangements will continue as-is. Should there be a change to your approved telecommuting agreement, you will be notified directly by Human Resources. Employees with existing approved agreements are not required to re-apply at this time.
Please be reminded that this SUNY-wide Telecommuting Program was implemented to support telecommuting where it is reasonable and practicable based on the campus mission, operational and programmatic needs. The policy establishes system-wide uniform parameters and guidelines regarding employee and campus expectations for Telecommuting.
