Author to discuss ‘Privileged Poor’ paradox in March 5 talk

Dr. Anthony Jack will discuss the central paradox of his book “The Privileged Poor” as the next speaker in SUNY Oswego’s I Am Oz Diversity Speaker Series, at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, in the Sheldon Hall ballroom.

Applications for New Student Orientation positions extended

SUNY Oswego's Pre-Optometry Club is collecting used prescription glasses to donate to SUNY Optometry for their mission work. People who donate their old glasses can give the gift of sight to those in need.

Oswego talent to help Syracuse Vocal Ensemble’s ‘Birds’ soar

Audiences for one of the upcoming Syracuse Vocal Ensemble performances of “Birds” will see a show that SUNY Oswego connections helped take flight.

The artistic director of the Syracuse Vocal Ensemble is Julie Pretzat, who is also dean of Oswego’s School of Communication, Media and the Arts. Pretzat drew on Oswego talent for the multimedia show celebrating feathered friends for the approach of spring.
