Final Title IX events of semester set today, tomorrow

The college's Title IX office and related It's On Oz campaign will have its last sessions of the semester today and tomorrow. 

A Title IX training will take place at 1 p.m. today (Dec. 4) in 201 Marano Campus Center. Students and employees are encouraged to attend these information sessions to learn more about policies, reporting and response procedures as well as ways to get involved in prevention of sexual and interpersonal violence.

SUNY Oswego criminal justice faculty member Jaclyn Schildkraut coordinated an effort that sent more than 9,000 holiday cards to children impacted by mass shootings.

Celebrated jazz saxophonist Dick Oatts to join faculty combo for Ke-Nekt concert

Renowned alto saxophonist Dick Oatts will join the Oswego Jazz Project at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, in SUNY Oswego's Sheldon Hall ballroom concert for the Ke-Nekt Chamber Music Series.

'Professors, Poems and Prose' to feature faculty, staff readings

"Professors, Poems and Prose" is a creative reading at 6 p.m. this evening in the Sheldon Hall historic classroom (Room 222) featuring faculty and staff from across disciplines at SUNY Oswego.

Laker hockey teams set Teddy Bear Toss, toy/food drive for Nov. 30 games

Good deeds are among the goals for the Laker men’s and women’s hockey teams on Friday, Nov. 30, as two home games will include a Teddy Bear Toss benefiting Toys for Tots and a food and toy drive supporting the local SEFA/United Way campaign.
