ASAP to present session on 'Ending Strong'

The Adult Student Assistance Program (ASAP) will host a virtual session on "Ending Strong: Ending Strong: Strategies for navigating the end of the semester with less stress and worry" at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 29.

Organizers hope that attendees can gear up to finish the semester on a high note. This final ASAP session of the spring semester is aimed at equipping students with effective techniques to successfully navigate the challenges that often arise as the semester concludes.

Focus Forward mentoring program holds annual recognition dinner

Office of Learning Services tutors helping students prepare for finals

In preparation for final exams, Office of Learning Services (OLS) peer tutors will be holding review sessions in a myriad of subjects and courses. These review sessions began as of April 29 and will continue through May 7.

In addition to course-based review sessions, the Writing Center will offer extended drop-in hours from Sunday, May 5, to Wednesday, May 8.

SEFA children’s book drive supporting local Bookmobile

The SUNY Oswego State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) Committee is again partnering with the Oswego Bookmobile for the fourth annual children’s book drive.

The effort invites campus and community members to donate new and like-new books for children ages 3 to 18. The book drive -- with boxes in Culkin Hall, Marano Campus Center and Rich Hall on campus -- will run through May 8.
