Talking Writing: Brown Bag Series of Informal Discussions
Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching
Talking Writing, a series of informal discussions on working with student-writers sponsored by the Writing Across the Curriculum Program, meets for the first time this semester this Friday, September 28, 11:30 - 12:30 in the CELT Conference room, 123 Penfield Library. We'll meet every other Friday at the same time for the rest of the semester.
All questions, ideas, and problems to be solved are more than welcome. Interested in what colleagues around campus are thinking about their students' writing and how to improve it? Want to hear about their most successful assignments, in-class exercises, and vehicles for informal writing? Have questions about how to arrange peer workshops, encourage revision, handle mechanics - or even revise some specific assignment you're unhappy with? If so, we'd love to have you be a part of this conversation.
Coffee and cookies will be provided, and please feel free to bring a lunch if you like.
