College Impact Collections Grant
Grants of up to $500 each will be awarded to faculty and professional staff each spring for selection of materials supporting professional development, scholarly activity, program/course curriculum needs, or student success.
All material will become part of the Penfield Library Collection and receive a bookplate with awardee name, department, and year grant was issued.
This program is funded through the New York State Coordinated Collection Development Aid grant.
Faxing
Faxing is available during most of our open hours. Please call ahead to ensure that a staff member is available to process your request.
Sending a Fax
Penfield Library is not responsible for faxes that are not received. If receipt of your fax is time-sensitive or important, contact the person or organization to which you are faxing to make them aware you are sending a document and can ensure their fax machine is in the ready mode.

Study Carrels
The primary function of study carrels is to provide students, faculty, and professional staff with space in the library for their study and research.
Semester carrels are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors. They are assigned at the beginning of each semester on a first-come-first-served basis. Special arrangements can be made by individuals with special needs.
Website Privacy
For each visitor to our website, our web server automatically recognizes information regarding the IP address and domain.
We collect and aggregate information on what pages users access or visit and how they use those pages, to statistically analyze site usage and to improve our content and layout. We believe this analysis allows us to improve our site and better tailor it to meet our users' needs.
