The Summer 2020 Scholarly and Creative Activities Virtual Symposium, presenting outstanding pieces of research authored by SUNY Oswego students and faculty of diverse disciplines, is now viewable online.

Beginning Monday, Sept. 21, Oswego Today will focus on exciting, engaging and connection-building virtual events available to the campus community.

The Laker Itinerary will feature a range of interactive activities, learning opportunities, networking events and more. With less in-person events on campus, this initiative represents a way to better allow students and others to discover the variety of virtual opportunities for connection, growth and future preparation.

The college’s popular Launch It student entrepreneur competition -- with a $2,500 grand prize -- continues this year in a virtual setting, with a pair of upcoming pitch sessions for students to impress the campus community with their ideas.

This message is in response to questions and concerns about the Federal Payroll Tax Holiday. At this time, SUNY Oswego has received no information from the Office of State Comptroller (OSC) regarding the payroll tax holiday put into effect this month by Executive Order of the federal government.

State University of New York Chancellor Jim Malatras recently launched SUNY’s “Mask Up or Pack Up” campaign to promote universal compliance with evidence-based COVID-19 safety guidelines across SUNY’s 64 colleges and universities. Chancellor Malatras is issuing a call for creative video submissions from students urging their classmates to act responsibly and vigilantly to contain the virus and keep campuses safe and open.

SUNY Oswego is proud to bring the CSTEP (Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program) program back to campus and the program is currently accepting applications for students to participate.
