Empire Plan offers LiveHealth Online program

The Empire Plan is doing all they can to support its enrollees through this unprecedented time and has introduced a new telehealth benefit to help them access health care services remotely. LiveHealth Online lets enrollees stay home and have a video visit with a board-certified doctor or licensed therapist on their smartphone, tablet or personal computer.

Online tutoring available to students via OLS

The Office of Learning Services (OLS) is now providing online tutoring services to help meet the needs of SUNY Oswego students. Our virtual center will provide one-on-one peer tutoring and writing assistance through the combined use of Tutortrac and GoBoard.com.

AMA announces virtual e-board elections, open to all students

Course withdrawal deadline extended to May 8

SUNY Oswego has moved the April 4 deadline for course withdrawals to the last day of classes on May 8 for the spring 2020 semester.

Students should discuss their status (in any course they are considering withdrawing from) with their academic advisor and, where appropriate, with the Financial Aid office. With this change, we want to make sure that students have ample time in making this critical decision.

Writing Fellows Program to host virtual drop-in hours to support remote writing

The second class of Faculty Accessibility Fellows marks part of an ongoing faculty-led effort to promote an inclusive campus culture that supports all learners.

Counseling Services announces new access options for students

With the college moving to remote instruction and other changes during this time, staff of the Counseling Services Center are working remotely but still aiming to offer the critical services they provide in person.

Winners announced for college's Creative Writing Awards

The English and creative writing department recently announced recipients of its annual Creative Writing Awards for top student submissions across genres.

The recognition normally takes place during Quest, but with the annual celebration of scholarly and creative activity heading online this year, the department announced the awards early and passed along praise to all participants. Organizers are working on creating a virtual award ceremony to take place sometime in April.

Quest 2020 to go virtual via Oswego's Digital Library

However, we are excited to partner with Penfield Library to offer a digital opportunity for both students and faculty to showcase their creative and scholarly work.
