SUNY Oswego to unveil new outdoor mural project on Oct. 25

The SUNY Oswego Art and Design Department is excited to announce the installation of a 2D outdoor mural on the north-facing wall of Tyler Hall, a project aiming to foster a spirit of positivity and enhance the campus environment, with a reception featuring the unveiling of the mural and celebration of its completion from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25.

Winter Sessions courses now viewable

Free walk-in student flu vaccinations available today

Health Services is excited to announce upcoming student flu shot clinics, inviting students to join the collective effort to fight against the flu virus. Please find the essential details below:

Dates: Oct. 16 and Nov. 1
Time: 1 to 3 p.m.
Location: Walker Health Center

No prior appointments are required. Simply present your student ID, and our healthcare team will administer your flu shot.

Reminder: Google storage quotas coming in early 2025

Since the original partnership, SUNY Oswego has been enjoying the unlimited storage Google has provided to higher education institutions at no cost. Users have been archiving emails in Gmail, creating, communicating and collaborating in Google Drive, and storing photos in the Photos app without too much concern about space.

Hazing Prevention Week activities scheduled

The campus community is invited to join the Dean of Students Office, Student Engagement and Leadership, Campus Recreation and Auxiliary Services for Hazing Prevention Week which runs from Oct. 14 to 18.

Organizers encourage you to stop by their table on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday to take the pledge against hazing and leave your handprint on our banner. Those who drop by Monday will also receive a free donut.

Citrix virtual apps maintenance scheduled for Oct. 10

On Thursday, Oct. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., Campus Technology Services (CTS) will perform maintenance affecting the Citrix virtual apps on Mac and PCs in the labs and Advanced Technology Classrooms (ATCs). This will not affect Citrix virtual app access on employee and personal computers on or off campus. During this time, users may receive a certificate error when accessing Citrix virtual apps in the computer labs and ATCs.

Renovations happening on Marano food and activity court
