Cloud storage has become one of the greatest data management tools in recent years especially as the workplace and classroom become more mobile. With the use of campus services such as Google Drive and personal services such as Dropbox and Onedrive, it is important to understand where your data goes and how to protect it.

Theatre Costume Shop hosting Halloween sale

The Theatre Department Costume Shop in Tyler Hall is clearing out old costumes this week, just in time for Halloween. The sale will run daily from 3 to 5:30 p.m. through Thursday, Oct. 28, or until sold out.

The sale will take place in 101C Tyler Hall, the first office door at the south entrance of the building.

The sale is first-come first-served, with everything priced to move and affordable, organizers said. Offerings include a wide range of costumes, wigs, masks and hats.

SHOP continues supporting campus, conducting professional clothing drive this week

Students Helping Oz Peers (SHOP) is a student-run pantry in the basement of Penfield Library. Through Oct. 28, SHOP is running a professional clothing drive for those who might need attire for job interviews and other formal activities.

SUNY Oswego campus community members are invited to perform in the State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) campaign’s 2023 Talent Showcase, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Bridie Manor in Oswego.

Organizers noted that the event, a fundraiser for Peaceful Remedies in Oswego, is not a competition but an opportunity for faculty, staff and students to show their performing talents while supporting a good cause.

Brightspace update: Current status and looking ahead
