The seventh annual Oswego Porchfest will feature campus-community connections with many SUNY Oswego faculty and staff –- as well as alumni -- performing on Sunday, Sept. 18, with many other SUNY Oswego employees hosting performers on their porches.

Constitution Day event planned

Members of the campus community can learn more about the country's founding document during Constitution Day activities from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16, on the Marano Campus Center concourse.

The table will host "Constitution Jeopardy," a mini-gameshow which will dive a little more into specific Constitutional rights and amendments. The Friday event previews the 235th anniversary of the United States Constitution, which was signed on Sept. 17, 1787.

SHOP opens for fall semester to support campus community

Students Helping Oz Peers (SHOP) is officially open for the semester, offering students, faculty and staff free non-perishable food, toiletries, reproductive health products, and professional and winter apparel.

Current hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4:30 to 7 p.m.; Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.; and on Saturdays, noon to 3 p.m. and by appointment.

First fall flu vaccination clinic set for this Thursday, Sept. 15

SUNY Oswego will host the first of its fall flu vaccination clinics from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15, in Swetman Gym.

Register online via this link for an appointment. Select Schedule New Appointment, then click Flu under Other Vaccines and type in 13126 for zip code. From there, the service will prompt you to schedule an appointment.

The following flu vaccines will be available:
