Openings available for Young Inventors program

Opportunities are still available for fifth and sixth graders to enroll for the remote Young Inventors program hosted by SUNY Oswego's Technology Department and its KidsTech program.

Participants in this STEM learning program can come from anywhere in New York state, thanks to generous funding from National Grid U.S. The program cost is modest and organizers can waive the registration fee if there is financial need.

Campus technology server maintenance on March 9

On Saturday, March 9, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Campus Technology Services (CTS) will perform maintenance on technology servers. During this time, some technology services will be intermittently unavailable for everyone on and off campus. These services include but are not limited to:

Park Hall network maintenance on March 12

March 6, 2024

On Tuesday, March 12, from 7 to 8 a.m., Campus Technology Services (CTS) will perform network maintenance. Park Hall's wired and wireless connections to the campus network and internet will be unavailable during this timeframe.

For the total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, SUNY Oswego’s activities will include a series of distinguished speakers giving invited talks from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 122 of the Shineman Center.

Today is International Women’s Day which falls into March’s Women’s History Month. Did you know that Women’s History Month has a theme? It is Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

Before it was Women’s History Month, Women’s History Week was celebrated first during the week beginning March 7, 1982, with Congressional approval through Pub. L. 97-28 in 1981. 

LakerPrint maintenance scheduled for March 13

On Wednesday, March 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Campus Technology Services (CTS) will perform maintenance on LakerPrint servers used for student printing. During this time, LakerPrint will be intermittently unavailable for everyone.
