Observing LGBTQIA2+ History Month

LGBTQIA2+ (the acronym stands for lesbian, gay, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, two-spirit plus) History Month is a month-long awareness of the history of the community along with the continued pursuit of LGBTQIA2+ rights.

Survey says: Health Services earns high ratings

Mary Walker Health Center’s Health Services recently received good news in survey results provided by the American College Health Association (ACHA).

SUNY Oswego’s Health Services was one of 39 schools participating in the Patient Satisfaction Assessment Service (PSAS) survey for the fall 2022 to spring 2023 academic year.

SEFA thinking pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The university’s State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA) committee plans fundraisers connecting with October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, benefiting the Oswego County Opportunities Cancer Services program.

Activities include a pink apparel sale throughout the month, a Pink the Rink women’s hockey game on Saturday, Oct. 21, and Pink Day on Friday, Oct. 27.
