LakerFest offers variety of free activities on Saturday

August 31, 2023

A variety of free activities and food will mark the annual LakerFest from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2, on Onondaga Field.

Activities will include build-a-buddies, a henna tattoo artist, photo booth, caricaturist, zipline, mechanical bull, home run derby, climbing wall and more.

Food trucks will include Skippy's ice cream truck, PB&J's Lunchbox and Oompa Loompyas.

Free poster printing deadline Sept. 1 for fall SCA student symposium

The 2023 Fall Scholarly and Creative Activities (SCA) Poster Symposium will take place from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 8, in the Sheldon Hall ballroom. Students looking to be part of the official 2023 program can print your poster for free by submitting all information via this link by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 1.

Laker Thrive Series for Employees to provide healthy activities

A new health and wellness initiative, the Laker Thrive Series for Employees will offer a series of enriching activities aimed at promoting well-being and fostering community.

All of these activities are free to all employees, and serve as a complement to the many wellness offerings the university provides students. Some events might require registration due to a limited number of spots available due to activity space.
