Alumnus, NASA engineer to speak Oct. 23 about Mars mission

Kenny Roffo, a 2017 SUNY Oswego graduate who is now a NASA software engineer, will return to his alma mater to discuss “InSight: The Next Mars Lander” at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, in Room 132 of the Shineman Center.

CTS promotes National Cybersecurity Awareness Month

Campus Technology Services aims to amplify the importance of security online in all students' and employees' educational, professional and personal lives during October -- National Cybersecurity Awareness Month.

There are, for example, everyday things that could make our online data more secure, according to CTS and NCSAM organizers: Put a passcode on your mobile phone in case it gets stolen or lost, remove sticky notes that have written passwords, and lock your computer screen when you leave the office or residence, among other steps.
